- 10 hours coverage max (must be used in a row with no stoppage due to limo or trolley transit times)
- start time begins when I arrive to set up (generally takes 10-15 minutes but could be slightly more if your venue has access issues)
- upstairs venues are required to have a disabled access ramp to the door if elevated and an elevator if multiple floor access is needed as I use a large cart to wheel in LOTS of equipment - this includes CHURCHES also as I can't roll 300+ pounds of gear up a set of stairs.

I speak to potential clients from my heart but also from over 20 years and over 700 weddings worth of experience as the main photographer. This short message is worth the time to read and consider as you begin your search for the best wedding photographer to suit your needs.
Weddings are the single most difficult type of photography to create. This specialty is more difficult than all other types of photography combined. To do it well, that is. There are so many high level skills needed including portraits, architecture, action (bouquet toss!), close up macro jewelry and other details shots, etc. The day can be unpredictable with twists and turns in schedules, lighting, unforeseen weather, and more. In addition to all of this, your photographer needs to be able to handle the technical aspects with absolute ease while being friendly, helpful, encouraging, and super organized.
Your photographer also must have top of the line equipment including a back up item for every single piece of their kit and cameras with two memory card slots in case one memory card fails or has an issue during the day. They need dozens of batteries pre-charged and ready to go as well as back up memory cards in case the total number of photos is more than their usual memory cards can handle. Add in moving all of those people and massive amounts of equipment from one location to the next all day long and, well, you start to understand how huge of a job this is to do! We show up with anywhere from $20,000-40,000 in equipment to every wedding. That doesn't even include the multiple computers, hard drives, and software back at the office. And a photographer spends more time working on your account than any other single vendor you hire. They typically spend 3-5 times the hours spent on the wedding day. The average wedding photographer spends a solid 40 hours to perform all services needed for an eight hour wedding day. This is why your professional wedding photographer should cost you 3-5 times what you are paying your other vendors such as your DJ, wedding coordinator, etc.
Choosing the right wedding photographer is just as important or more important than every other part of your day. It's right up there with your ring, dress, and venue choice. These are your FOREVER memories. Don't trust them to the lowest price. These are the memories that will remind you of your WHY when times get tough. These are the memories that you will pass down for generations, leaving a legacy of love, trust, and commitment to your children and grandchildren.

FAQ
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Yes! I love to travel. Destination weddings do require a custom quote to include travel fees and expenses.
Will there be a second shooter?
All of my coverage and packages include myself as the photographer. If you are interested in a second photographer, I have multiple options available. Second photographers require a custom quote.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Sometimes! If I don't have another session or event to photograph or I'm done for the day, I can sometimes extend a session or even a wedding for more time. When in doubt, ask me!
What kind of gear do you use?
I use top of the line professional equipment including double memory card slot (extra backup!) camera bodies from both Canon and Fuji, with professional level lenses and flashes and portable studio lighting products from Godox, Canon, and Fuji. My entire computer system in my office is custom made as the specifications required for a photo and video editing powerhouse far exceed the needs of the average consumer. I also have a massive system of hard drives and back up systems in place.
Can I order prints through you?
Yes, you can order prints, canvases, jewelry, and albums all through me. I have access to professional labs that the average consumer can not order through. It would be a wise choice to order your custom printed products through me as consumer companies offer inexpensive low quality papers and flimsy canvases. I can provide you with professional quality and I also GUARANTEE the product when you purchase it directly through me.

SOUND SYSTEMS & LIGHTING
All sound and lighting systems, as well as all DJ training, are designed and supervised by owner and lead photographer, Kris Gay.
I have a background as a Sweetwater Sales Engineer, specializing in designing and selling multi-million dollar recording studios and live sound systems for the rich and famous right down to local professional musicians. Every bit of equipment we use was hand picked by me. Every DJ that I employ has been personally trained by me, using over 20 years and over 800 weddings worth of experience, to ensure that your DJ provides M.C. or Master of Ceremonies services as well as coordinating all vendors behind the scenes so all events are completed per your schedule and personal requests. As a professional musician myself, I have an extensive knowledge of many different genres of music. Every DJ is trained to not only know their equipment inside and out, including troubleshooting any issues on site, but also knowing a wide variety of music genres from the last hundred years. We also bring A LOT of back up equipment with us on site down to extra speakers and other components, cables, adapters, and even extension cords. Electronics may occasionally fail so we're ready to keep the party rocking because we're prepared for everything! Regular ongoing training with all DJ's ensures that we stay your #1 Top Rated DJ vendor for our local area. No one else in our local area even comes close to our level of service.

DJ Joel Crasper-Guzman
Joel's equipment
Joel uses top of the line equipment in a rolling rack case like the kind you see bands use when they travel on tour. This is so he can mount all of the equipment together and run cables inside the case for a clean look. He also has his own table with cover or a DJ facade that covers all of the equipment behind it. This create a clean and neat look for all stands, cables, and equipment. The photos that you see of Joel working below with a large mixer were for a live sound event. We've also included several photos of his set up for an outdoor wedding. When we provide sound for outdoor weddings, we can put the speakers in front or behind the guests. We provide all of the music and microphones for your official and the couple so all of the guests can hear the ceremony well.
His audio system includes top of the line components from microphones wired and wireless, mixer, EQ, compression/gate/limiter, power conditioner, professional cables for reliable connections, and speakers (up to four) including subwoofers. His lighting system includes professional products from Chauvet including many different lighting products for various effects and a huge DMX lighting control board all connected to a truss rod system up to ten feet wide. He can scale his system to suit weddings with 150 guests or more up to huge corporate events with up to 1,500 guests.

Questions?
Brides typically pay for their trial run and their day of wedding MUA services and then let us know how many women need services so we can plan the right number of MUA team.
Generally, the bridesmaids and mothers/grandmothers all pay for their own MUA services on the wedding day. TIPS are recommended to the MUA team as they make less for the entire day than the DJ.
Same for photobooth attendants. They appreciate tips very much.
